On this, robbers rob the rich
Because they show much to rob
And they rob the poor,
Because the poor can’t defend what little they have.
However, all those who are like my Lord,
They’re may be rich or poor,
But they always keep what treasures they have.
Those with understanding will understand.
What’s mined from secret places shines.
All that’s pretty’s displayed for sale.
They are attracted and they buy,
But Greed strikes! They buy so they may sell again.
One for another, traded are the gems
Passing endlessly from hand to hand.
Because of their glory, because of their light,
They are picked up then bought again and again.
