28 - Prayer: Loving Heaven as Heaven Loves

And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

If I’d love you as you love me,
Then maybe it could be,
That all that’s mine could then be thine
And all that’s thine be mine.
So pray my LORD, please save my soul,
Keep me your Holy Ghost.
Before vain words, before vain thoughts,
Pray I love thy Word the most.

For programmed in this Earth
Are instructions for the mind
To lead the heart astray from birth
To cut us from the vine.
It’s through their lies the sons of God
Dress themselves as swine,
So when the pearls are cast,
They see plain rocks from what’s divine.

But no, oh God, it’s the Word of Life,
Eternal life that’s mine!
When the eyes affixed to see,
How could I’ve lived my life as swine!
How could I have accepted less,
Than the LORD which was blessed?
One can only shake their fist
For throwing off your gifts.

But praise be to you for your holy grace.
You accept nothing less
Than the contrite broken heart.
So pray Father pray
We do thy work on Earth,
What thou gavet us to do.
So when we pass from life to death
Joy enters on your rest.
Amen.
