A return to normal life (A Lenten Reflection)

I am thinking. Lent, Ash Wednesday, Death.

God wills what He wills. Life could be short or long.

Urgent matters took the mind. Calls, Claims, Work.

Of dreams, I’m fine with having none at all.

What the elders lived was an anomaly in time.

They were Christian.

What heathen blood has known, they’re blood will also know.

They live like heathens.

That explains it then. Heathens live heathen lives.

They’ll be like the rest of the world in time,

Like how my fathers lived for most of time.

No mobility, no hope.

No money, no growth.

All work, no pay.

Replaced.

Woman taken by rich man overseas.

Overseas? Maybe overland. Such was life,

And God was kind to the people under Christ,

Leaving the heathen chastised for salvation’s sake.

Of dreams, pray Lord, I guess I have some,

And I speak too despairingly for a man of faith.

The world of exiles differs from the plastic state.

Having come from beyond the gate this mind

Can not relate to this people’s wisdom and advice.

From those who’ve traveled far, I listen.

Those inoculate by plastic love, I abhor.

The war is waged by mothers and the old.

Ask and you shall receive.

God, you’d know what’d make man happy.

The desires of his evil heart.

Better dead than offend with a rose of sin.

He could ask for pure things.

Think I’ve asked.

Humility.

Love of neighbor.

Poverty of spirit.

Obedience.

Joy in finding God.

True sorrow over sin.

Purity.

Courage.

Patience.

Perseverance.

Faith.

Hope.

Love of God.

Happy death.

Trust in Mama’s intercession.

Think I only got problems asking for these.

Problems make men stronger.

Working with devils life was easier.

Blessed are those who overcome.

Don’t be a coward.

I’ve asked for Courage and I still fear. I’m timid,

And there are many problems where I fear.

Solve them.

Your father asks for grandchildren?

Yes, Lord. I despise women for their dominion over man.

Solve that.

You think her an enemy? Love her.

How?

Solve fear.

I gave you problems. Solve them.

No wife, no kids, no family.

No purpose, walking lifeless.

No one to cheer you on, just GOD

To push you on when you’re incompetent at your JOB.

Did You know? Of course You knew. You’re the LORD.

I am Yours. Whatever I am, You’ve planned before the time.

How blessed is man to live according to Your plans.

You knew man’s pain before he floated in the womb.

What gift does man receive to walk with Thee beyond the tomb.

You knew this pain before we men were born.

By this pain, charted was the course

For man to live and die with Thee, married to their LORD.

The men of Israel, the world may keep them poor.

Glory to the Lord. As it was then it will be now.

If poverty’s the course, glory to the Lord.

Man will know what God took on.

Man will know the love of God.

And man will be as hapless lambs.

Their labor and their work won’t raise them up at all.

For as it was in Your days, it will be now.

Taxes will be levied. The rich will rob the poor,

And the poor will work, ceaselessly for roof and bread

To care for little ones crying to be fed.

And the prideful will fail to take the earth.

Disobedient mouths and high demands prevent their heirs.

The vanities of man will keep their empty wombs.

With virtue the meek will carry on when the prideful die alone.

And there will be no justice in the courts

Until the sons of God are born to see Thy laws restored.

There will come a better world,

But like a mother’s pangs for her child’s birth,

Man will suffer for a time and joy

When the world You saw is born.
