46 - My Lord and I as One Ascend

My Lord and I as one ascend.
Yea, we both agree
Our will's ascend to Thee,
But If I fall we both fall,
Lest there’s surgery
To cut my soul enroute to Hell
From him who doeth well.

May the people understand
What's bound on Earth
Is bound for after life.
Love between two souls is meant
To make two souls as one ascend,
But thieves delight to kill those wed
By leading two as one to death!

Then many too fall for sins of flesh,
Where thieves always cheer
Catching hordes unaware
Where when they pass
Many pairs of souls as one depart on a fiery bed,
And if not a bed, then chained together always
To leave burning as one flesh.
Yea, many voices scream
Chained to one woman or one man.

So before one is drawn to envy,
Consider, joined together are many "families,"
Who've been cast into the pit.
It's better to enter life alone
Than die with the multitude.
One is the door, narrow is the gate.
Pray every "family" walks the narrow way!

How Heaven weeps for the loss of souls!
You who enters alone, did you even try?
Could you not bring with you one or two?
Were you as a watchman who saw and knew,
The multitudes of the enemy before the wall,
Yet nodding off to tell thy brethren nothing at all?
Even if thou wert righteous, Heaven smells the blood.

Ah! How blessed art I that me and my Lord are one.
When one doeth wrong the other may sense
By the sword which pierces our one heart.
Then they rush forth. Then they correct,
So the evil’s done away that we may walk the strait way.
Oh pray, by love between woman and man,
Many souls as one ascend.
