43 - A Deliverance Prayer

Oh Father, please forgive me,
I didn’t know what I did.
Evil came disguised as you,
And I let them in.
Oh soliloquys with “Jesus,”
I thought it was you who came to speak.
I heard a knock on my soul’s door,
And I let them in.

Now this “Jesus,” false “Jesus,”
He promised me mercies from sin,
That He’d always forgive and gift
No matter how I’d sinned.
But Father, how blind was I?
Before sin, Pride reminds.
This “Jesus” was my defendant,
But only before I sinned!

After sin, he’d be harsh with me,
And then he’d “comfort” me.
Yeah you’re stupid, but I forgive your sins,
And I’ll forgive you again.
But please sin no more, c’mon try again.
See how he sneaks that in?
Evil never gives the full truth,
How to pray, how to never sin again!

But Father, I ask of thee,
Make me yours again.
Leave me not in Satan’s hands,
But keep me in your plans.
I am sorry for my evil arts.
By the blood of the true Christ
Bind evil from my soul,
Lay it all before thy cross.

Help me repent God,
Help me do right works.
Please save my soul.
Oh God, forgive me!
I should have known
When I began to think as “we!”
Save me God, save my soul,
Oh my Jesus pray for me. Amen.
