Yet we are exhorted to know we may die at any time.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
So this is the mystery.
The godly should have long lives,
But each day of their life,
Should be spent as if they were to die.
Ergo, what's most important to God
May be done in a single day.
Everything else beyond that's just play,
Or in the case of fighters a long campaign.
